Selflove. Intimacy starts with yourself. In I Feel Seen this intimate connection with yourself is the focuspoint. Masturbation is a delightful way to explore your own body, to enjoy, to relax. Why would we hide that? With I Feel Seen we place masturbation and the orgasm in the spotlight. The intimate connection with yourself does not have to be hidden, we can speak about it, show it, it is beautiful!
How is an I Feel Seen shoot organised?
The I Feel Seen shoots are shot outside as much as possible. We place a chair in the middle of a field, the forest, on the beach… As a model you can choose the location, as long as there is plenty of light and it radiates openness. We will shoot a few video clips beforehand to capture the location and the model in this setting. During the shoot, the model is typically seated in a chair, but we can choose a different pose in consultation. Most of the filming will be done in close-up, but this will be achieved using a zoom lens, allowing the videographer to maintain a distance of one or two meters away from the model. During the shoot there is no further interaction between the model and the photographer and videographer.
We will be using five cameras in total. One videocamera and one photocamera will be placed about two meters directly in front of the model on tripods. At a distance, there will be one videocamera on a tripod for capturing behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, we will each have a handheld camera to move around the model. We will go over this beforehand so as a model you will know exactly where to expect us during the shoot. This way, we can also determine what is comfortable or uncomfortable for the model beforehand and accommodate accordingly. After the shoot, there will be the opportunity to review some of the footage if desired.
Below are two short video’s and some photos from a first practice I Feel Seen shoot. Due to the cold these practice shoot were indoors, but it gives an impression of the type of images we aim to create.
